Alcove shelving
The single best-value bit of joinery in most London living rooms.
Bespoke shelving, fitted wardrobes, doors, staircases and garden structures — measured, made and fitted so they still look right in ten years.

What we cover
Almost no London property has a square wall or a level floor. That's exactly why bespoke joinery beats flat-pack: everything is scribed to the wall you actually have, not the one the drawing assumes.
Common jobs
The single best-value bit of joinery in most London living rooms.
Built in place, so no gaps at the top and none down the side.
Rehung, eased and adjusted — often a half-hour job, not a new door.
Matched to the original profile in period properties.
Built to last a British winter, not one good summer.
The jobs that eat a weekend, done in an afternoon.
Questions
Both, depending on the piece. Carcasses are usually built in the workshop for a cleaner finish, then scribed and fitted on site. Simpler work is made in place.
Usually yes. We take a profile from the existing moulding and either source a match or have it run bespoke. It's the detail that decides whether new work reads as original.
We can — our decorators finish most joinery jobs, either as part of the same quote or as a separate stage. Priming before fitting gives a noticeably better result.
Typically two to four days on site for a pair of alcoves, plus lead time for materials. We'll give you a dated programme with the quote.
Yes. Removal, waste disposal and making good the wall behind are included unless the quote says otherwise.
